Three-Fold Manifestation II, 1987 (refabricated 2006)
Aluminum & stainless steel painted white
29'3" x 14' x 12'

This three-tiered vertical, stacked tower of tipped bowls was conceived as an image of ascent, like Brancusi's Endless Column; it reflects Aycock's diverse interests -- here in Leonardo di Vinci's drawings of water, a theater design by German Bauhaus architect Walter Gropius, and the helical form of DNA molecules.
