Britain's seminal 20th century sculptor is represented here by the cast bronze Reclining Connected Forms, an abstract restatement of nested images that Moore began to create in the early 1930s with an extended series of mother and child pieces. This sculpture realized his stated goal "to get one form to stay alive inside another."
